By downloading, installing, or using WAKEM, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
WAKEM is an alarm clock app that requires you to complete a "wake-up mission" (such as a math problem, memory game, or photo/barcode scan) to dismiss an alarm, along with sleep logging (manual, or automatic using Android's Activity Recognition if you enable it), morning routine checklists, and progress statistics.
Please read this section carefully. It affects how you should rely on WAKEM for anything time-critical.
WAKEM is designed to be a reliable alarm clock, but no software-based alarm can guarantee it will wake you. A number of things outside our control can prevent an alarm from sounding or displaying, including but not limited to:
For anything where oversleeping has serious consequences — a flight, an exam, a medical need — please use a secondary, independent method of waking up (a second alarm clock, a wake-up call, etc.) alongside WAKEM. You use WAKEM's alarm functionality at your own risk, and we are not liable for missed alarms or any consequences arising from them.
The Photo and Scan Barcode wake-up missions request camera access solely to complete that mission. The Photo mission accepts any photo you take and the Scan Barcode mission accepts any barcode or QR code; nothing is registered in advance. You can change or remove these missions at any time in the alarm editor. See our Privacy Policy for how camera data is handled.
WAKEM offers one purchase through Google Play Billing: WAKEM Premium. It is a single, one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
WAKEM Premium removes ads, removes the limit on how many alarms you can have, lets you stack several wake-up missions on one alarm, and unlocks your full sleep and statistics history.
Refund requests are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, not directly by us. We never see or store your payment card details.
Without WAKEM Premium, the app shows ads, allows a limited number of alarms, allows one wake-up mission per alarm, and shows a recent window of your sleep and statistics history rather than all of it.
Every wake-up mission type is free — the part of WAKEM that actually wakes you is never behind a purchase, and neither is the record of an alarm that failed to wake you. The specific numeric limits may change over time; the in-app Premium screen is the current description.
You agree to use WAKEM only for its intended personal wake-up, sleep-tracking, and routine-tracking purposes, and not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the app or the services it depends on (Google Play Billing, Google AdMob).
WAKEM, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by LogicGateGames LLC. You're granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app; you don't acquire any ownership rights in it.
WAKEM is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogicGateGames LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) WAKEM, including damages related to missed alarms as described in Section 3.
We may suspend or discontinue WAKEM, or your access to it, at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using WAKEM at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of WAKEM after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
