Terms of Service — Sigla

Sigla is a shortcut, not a safety device. It draws a button over other apps and can run actions like the torch, the camera or an alarm. Do not rely on it for anything time-critical or safety-critical: Android may stop a background service at any time, manufacturers restrict overlays differently, and a gesture can always be misread. Please read Sections 3 and 5.

1. What Sigla Does

Sigla is an on-device launcher. You teach it marks — shapes you draw — and attach them to actions: opening an app, running a system toggle, following a link, starting a timer. It also shows a floating button with a deck of shortcuts. Everything is stored and processed on your device. The app has no server and uploads nothing.

2. Free and Paid Features

Sigla is free to use, with an optional one-time in-app purchase that raises the limits on how many marks and deck buttons you can keep, and adds deck groups and a different deck in the apps you choose. The current free-tier limits and the price are always shown in the app before you buy. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service; refunds, where applicable, are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

The purchase is one payment, not a subscription. It unlocks the app on the Google account that bought it.

3. Permissions You Grant

Some features need permissions that you grant yourself, and can withdraw at any time in Android Settings:

Display over other apps — for the floating button.
Accessibility service — for screenshots, navigation actions, the lock-screen button, and knowing which app is in front (to hide the button in apps you exclude and to open per-app decks). It is configured so that it cannot read the content of your screen. See the Privacy Policy, section 4.
Modify system settings — only if you use a brightness or rotation-lock button.

Turning any of these off disables the features that depend on it. The rest of the app keeps working.

4. Your Responsibilities

Keep your device's own security up to date. Sigla's lock-screen button offers only actions that reveal nothing about you — torch, camera, sound profiles, alarms — but the phone's lock is yours to configure.
Do not use Sigla to automate anything you are not permitted to do on your device, or to circumvent another app's own protections.
If you enable the accessibility service, you are responsible for that choice. The app explains what it does before sending you to the system screen.

5. No Warranty

Sigla is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In particular we do not warrant that:

a mark will always be recognised — handwriting varies, and the recogniser is deliberately tuned to refuse an uncertain match rather than run the wrong action;
the floating button will survive every manufacturer's background restrictions;
an action that depends on another app will work if that app changes or is uninstalled.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogicGateGames LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including anything missed because a shortcut did not fire.

6. Changes to the App and These Terms

Features may change between versions. If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated terms are published here. Continuing to use the app after that constitutes acceptance.

7. Termination

You may stop using Sigla at any time by uninstalling it, which removes the marks and settings stored on your device. A completed purchase remains tied to your Google account and can be restored by reinstalling.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to LogicGateGames LLC's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
