1 About Scrivox
Scrivox is a voice-to-text application that uses on-device AI to transcribe speech. Published by LogicGateGames LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, distributed through the Google Play Store.
2 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Scrivox. If you are under 18, review these terms with a parent or guardian.
3 License
LogicGateGames LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Scrivox on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app; reverse-engineer or extract its source code; use it for unlawful purposes; or resell access to it.
4 Premium Subscriptions
Scrivox offers optional Premium plans (monthly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime purchase). Current pricing is displayed on the Google Play Store listing and within the app at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
- Billing: Processed through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at purchase confirmation.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: Handled by Google Play per their refund policy.
- Free tier limits: Free users may make up to 5 recordings per day, up to 3 minutes each.
5 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Scrivox to:
- Record individuals without their knowledge or consent
- Transcribe or store content that violates applicable laws
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Circumvent or interfere with the app's security features
- Use the app in any way that violates Google Play policies

7 Intellectual Property & Third-Party Models
Scrivox and its original content are the exclusive property of LogicGateGames LLC. The app incorporates the following open-source AI models, each licensed under the MIT License:
- OpenAI Whisper — base speech recognition model developed by OpenAI.
- vasista22 fine-tuned Whisper models — Indian language packs for Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Gujarati, developed by vasista22 (IIT Madras). Available at huggingface.co/vasista22.
All recordings and transcripts you create belong to you — we claim no rights to your content.
8 Disclaimer of Warranties
Scrivox is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. LogicGateGames LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LogicGateGames LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
10 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be noted in app update release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Michigan.
