Save Links & Text - Auto Sort - LogicGateGames

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LogicGateGames collects, uses, and shares information when you use Save Links. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. What Stays On Your Device

Everything you save - links, text, titles, notes, categories, and the corrections you make - is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server belonging to us that receives your saved items. We cannot see what you have saved.

2. Link Previews

When you save a link, the App fetches that page's title, description, and preview image so the item is recognisable in your list. This is a direct request from your device to that website. As with opening the page in a browser, that website receives your IP address and can record the visit. No information about you is sent to us, and nothing about your other saved items is included in the request.

For YouTube links the App uses YouTube's public oEmbed endpoint to fetch the video title, channel name, and thumbnail. No API key or account is used.

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, account details, or the contents of what you save. Third-party services used by the App collect limited technical and usage data:

4. App Lock

If you turn on App Lock, the App asks Android to verify your fingerprint, face, or screen lock before showing your saved items. This check is performed entirely by the Android system. The App never receives, stores, or transmits your fingerprint, face data, PIN, pattern, or password - it is told only whether the check succeeded.

5. Permissions

The App requests no location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions. Exporting and importing a backup uses Android's document picker, so the App can read or write only the single file you choose.

6. Files The App Writes

The App can write your saved items to a file, either when you ask it to or on a schedule you set. You choose where that file goes. It is not encrypted, and we never receive a copy.

If you choose a folder belonging to a cloud service - such as Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox - or send the file to another app, then a copy of your saved items leaves this device and that provider's own privacy policy applies to it. That is your choice to make; the App does not upload anything on its own.

Items you have marked as private are never written to files meant for other programs to read.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Deletion

Deleting an item removes it from your device. Uninstalling the App deletes all of its data, including everything you saved. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for you to request that we delete, and nothing for us to restore.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the App changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
