This Privacy Policy describes how LogicGateGames handles information when you play Differencia, a logic-deduction puzzle where you narrow down a grid by elimination. By playing the game you agree to what is described here.
1. We Do Not Collect Your Data
Differencia has no account, no login and no server of ours. We do not collect, store or receive your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or anything you type.
2. Your Progress Stays on Your Device
Levels completed, hints held, settings and purchase state are written to the game's own private storage on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to us. Uninstalling the game deletes that data, and we cannot restore it for you.
3. Advertising
The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a banner, ads between levels, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch in exchange for hints or extra tries. To serve those, Google may collect your Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier), ad interaction data, device model, operating-system version, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We never see the personal data behind that - we see only aggregate counts of impressions and revenue.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings under Privacy or Google - Ads, or remove ads entirely by buying the one-time Remove Ads unlock.
4. Ad Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are in a region that requires it, the game shows Google's consent form the first time you open it, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Your answer is recorded on your device and determines whether ads may be requested and whether they are personalised.
This version of the game does not yet offer a way to reopen that form from inside the game. Until it does, you can change your answer by clearing the game's data in Android Settings (Apps - Differencia - Storage - Clear data), which will also clear your progress, or by resetting your Advertising ID as described above. We are adding an in-game control for this.
5. Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The game offers a one-time Remove Ads unlock. The game also sells hint packs (10 or 25 hints), which are consumed inside the game. Your payment details go to Google, never to us; we receive only confirmation that a purchase was made.
6. Google Play Services
The game uses Google Play services for the in-app rating prompt and, on some devices, for delivering the app itself. Those services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
7. Children
Differencia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued play after a change means you accept it.
